Philadelphia: The craziness of the NFL Draft is in Kansas City & there is a buzz surrounding certain players as teams continue to build for the 2023 season & for the future.
A report came down on Friday that the Detroit Lions have received calls for RB D’Andre Swift.
D’Andre Swift is from the Philadelphia area & also played at the University of Georgia, it would make a lot of sense to bring him home and build what the Eagles have done with recent selections of Georgia players like Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith & Nakobe Dean
The Eagles saw firsthand how good Swift is as he burned them for 51 yards in the 2022 season opener.
The Eagles are looking to add to the running game as they let Miles Sanders go once free agency began & their current group of RB features Boston Scott, Rashaad Penny & Kenneth Gainwell & this would be a no-brainer to make an offer to the Lions to bring Swift home to Philadelphia & go behind an imposing Offensive line lead by Lane Johnson, Jason Kelce & Jordan Mailata. This is something that we are going to keep an eye on.
