Pittsburgh PA: There was a lot of drama as MLB teams were trying to make moves at the MLB Trade Deadline and the Phillies would make a couple of moves that would attempt to help them in their push to make the playoffs for the first time since 2011.
The Phillies would get flat out embarrassed by the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night 7-0 who are one of the worst teams in baseball and the Phillies sent out Vince Velasquez who only went 2 innings and has not been on the target in the last couple of starts. This team has been very frustrating a lot during the season and not been able to build any momentum especially how they came bac and defeated the Nationals on Thursday with the Walk off Grand Slam by Brad Miller

After hearing everything that Ricky Bottalico Said, he is 100% , something needs to be fixed and also can this team go on a run to make some noise to catch the New York Mets who currently lead the NL East as the Phillies stand in 2nd place only 3.5 games back.
Some of the decisions lately by Manager Joe Girardi have been head scratching and just not sure of why he was doing those moves. It is now time for the Phillies to end the Vince Velasquez experiment and show that they can be serious contenders, as stated above, Vince Velasquez has not been on point in his last couple of starts and they have been trailing in those starts and have to wear out the bullpen and sometimes have to use a position player to pitch.
