Hershey PA: As the entire nation celebrates Valentines day, One of the greatest rivalries in the American Hockey League took center stage on Sunday afternoon as the Lehigh Valley Phantoms who are the Philadelphia Flyers affiliates took on the Hershey Bears who are the Washington Capitals affiliates from the Giant Center in Hershey.
The goalie matchup was Zane McIntyre for the Phantoms going against Ilya Samsonov for Hershey.
Hershey would get the scoring started 16 seconds into the game on goal from Joe Snively for the 1-0 lead. The Phantoms would get their chance to score and they were able to get the game tied on goal from Logan day and then the Phantoms made the bears pay to end the first on the 1st pro goal from Zayde Wisdom that gave Lehigh Valley the 2-1 lead at end of 1st period.

The Phantoms would add to the lead at 3-1 on goal by Matt Strome in the 2nd period. At this point, Lehigh Valley had everything going for them & goalie Zane McIntyre would make some big saves.
The Bears would fight back and would score the next 3 goals for the 4-3 lead with under 7 minutes left in the 3rd period, all the momentum in this game was on Hershey side and did anyone think the Phantoms would come back and tie the game at 4 with 5:16 left on Zayde Wisdom 2nd goal of game

The Phantoms would head to overtime for the third straight game in a row, which is a franchise first & Lehigh Valley would not waste any time as David Kase would put home the game winner from Wisdom and the Phantoms get a hard fought win.
