Toronto: So far the NHL Playoffs in the hub cities of Toronto & Edmonton have been great and at the same time giving the fans what they want & that is great hockey.
On Thursday the Philadelphia Flyers took on the Washington Capitals in a round-robin game from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Whenever you play in certain games you will always remember those special moments and that is what we had as Travis Sanheim would score his first playoff goal and it was an amazing play that was set up by Kevin Hayes but the finish by Sanheim was wow and how did he pull that off.
How the goal sounded:
Jim Jackson on NBC Sports Philadelphia:
Gord Miller on NBCSN:
Tim Saunders on 97.5 The Fanatic:
“Looking for skating room, gains control looking at the net and got a man going to the goal.. to the net it is Sanheim with a shot he SCORESSSSS Travis Sanheim what hands what great mitts he goes upstairs, the goal makes it 2-0 Flyers”
The Flyers would go on to win the game 3-1 and have gone 2-0 in the round-robin games in the bubble of Toronto.
