Realmuto & Gosselin lead Phillies over Yankees

Philadelphia: So far in the 60 games MLB regular season, it has been very interesting and challenging especially what has happened to the Philadelphia Phillies with the Marlins testing positive when they were in Philly.

On Thursday night, the Phillies looked to split the series against the New York Yankees from Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies would jump out early on 3 run homerun from JT Realmuto

Later on in the game, Phil Gosselin would remain hot as he would hit a 2 run double in the 3rd inning which made it 5-2

During the game, Yankees Manager Aaron Boone would talk to the umpires about the noise that was coming out of the stadium

Following the game, Phillies manager Joe Girardi was asked about the fans in centerfield gate called The Phandemic

The Phillies took down the Yankees 5-4 for Back to back wins for the first time this season & now stand at 3-4 on the season.

Phillies starter Zach Eflin went 4 innings, 4 hits, 5 strikeouts on 77 pitches.

The Phillies will now get ready for a weekend series against the Atlanta Braves from Citizens Bank Park starting on Friday, August 7.
