Philadelphia: When you make it to the championship round of any playoff series, it is time to see what you are made of and if you have what it takes to win the entire thing.
Let’s go to June 2, 2010, as the Philadelphia Flyers took on the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals from the Wachovia Center in South Philadelphia. The Blackhawks lead the series 2-0. This would mark the first Stanley Cup Finals game in Philadelphia since June 3, 1997.
This was a back and forth game as both teams had their opportunities and this game would head into overtime. The Flyers would take advantage of the overtime as Claude Giroux puts home the deflection for the winner and the Flyers would get back in the series with this win.
This would also mark the Flyers first Stanley Cup Finals win since Game 6 of 1987 Cup Finals.
