Baltimore, MD: Every May the entire sports world turns to horse racing for the annual run for the roses which is for the triple crown which is winning 3 races in a row, Kentucky, Preakness & Belmont & the City of Philadelphia would have a part of horse racing history.
Let’s go to May 15, 2004, as the second leg of the triple crown which is the Preakness Stakes from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, MD & there was a horse from Philadelphia in the field named Smarty Jones who entered the race undefeated and took the Kentucky Derby the week before.
Now the question is can Smarty Jones stay undefeated by winning the Preakness & set him up for a chance at history with a win at the Belmont for the Triple Crown.
