What Events in Philly & Lehigh Valley affected by CoronaVirus

Philadelphia: The entire nation is taking it hour by hour on the different developments regarding the Coronavirus and what affect it has on the city & the economic toll and if certain events can be held or changed to another date.

On March 15, the CDC would announce that they would be no big gathering for 8 Weeks

If you do the math it would be the second week of May when the CDC believes things would be under control for people to get back to doing normal things and have certain sporting events take place.

Here is a tracker of what events that are still going on, been postponed or have been Canceled in the Philadelphia & Lehigh Valley area.

Still happening:

Eagles Autism Challenge on May 13 at Lincoln FinancaiL Field, event organizers are monitoring what is going on and will make a decision soon

Postponed:

AEW Wrestling at Liacouras Center on the Campus of Temple University from April 27 to July 29

Monster Jam at Lincoln Financial Field, Scheduled for April 11, new date TBA

Phillies Phestival at Citizens Bank Park on May 7, New Date is TBA

Phillies Charities 5K on March 28 at Citizens Bank Park, New date TBA

2020 Blue Cross Broad Street Run Which was set for May 3, postponed to October 4

Horse Racing at Parx Casino & Harris Philadelphia

Philly Special Boxing at 2300 Arena

Events at Wells Fargo Center for Philadelphia Flyers, 76ers & Wings

Philadelphia Union at Subaru Park

Philadelphia Phillies Regular season at Citizens Bank Park

Lehigh Valley Phantoms Hockey at PPL Center in Allentown

 

Canceled:

82nd staging of the Dad Vail Regatta which was to be held May 8 & 9

NCAA Events in Allentown PA & Philadelphia PA

NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Regional at PPL Center in Allentown, which was supposed to be April 28-29

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship at Lincoln Financial Field on May 23-25

Collegiate Rugby Championship at Subaru Park 

Philadelphia Big 5 Basketball  Hall of Fame Banquet at the Palestra which was supposed to be April 13

Carson Wentz AO1Foundation  Charity Softball Game at Citizens Bank Park which was supposed to be on May 8

Penn Relays at Franklin Field was supposed to be April 23-25
