Greenville, N.C. When the calendar turns to October, in college football that means conference play gets going and that is what we got on Thursday night as the Temple Owls take on the East Carolin Pirates to open American Athletic Conference play.
Temple enters this primetime battle with a 3-1 record and off a defensive showing against Georgia Tech while their opponents East Carolin is 3-2 on the season and off win over Old Dominion last week.
