Report: Former Flyers Goalie Brian Boucher Replaces Pierre McGuire on NBC #1 Team

Philadelphia: There are certain people during the game broadcast that you look forward to and others you just hate. There will be some changes for the 2019-20 Hockey season on NBC.

On Wednesday, Report came out that Pierre McGuire would be replaced on NBC top announce team for former Flyers Goalie Brian Boucher.

Brian Boucher joined NBC Sports as a guest analyst during the 2015 Stanley Cup. This past season marked Boucher 4th season with NBC after joining the network full time starting with the 2015-16 season. Boucher has worked with NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the NHL regular season, Stanley Cup Playoffs, and Stanley Cup Final. Boucher made his Olympic broadcasting debut during the 2018 PyeongChang Games.

So what does that mean for Pierre McGuire??

During Boucher 13 year NHL career, he played 6 of those years with the Flyers, playing in 174 games, going 73-68 with 2.50 GAA and making 3760 saves.

During his time with the Flyers, Brian Boucher would make some amazing saves that fans will always remember.
