Report from ESPN that the Sixers offered Ben Simmons a Max Contract Extension
Ben Simmons will be entering the 2019-20 season in the final year of his rookie deal which was 4 years at $26,620,450 in July 2016 and will be a restricted free agent if he does not sign an extension. On October 29, the Sixers exercised Ben Simmons $8.11 million option for 2019-20

Ben Simmons has a 2020 Qualifying Offer which is $10,548,109
During the 2018-19 season, Simmons played in 79 games, scored 16.9 Points per game, 8.8 rebounds per game with 7.7 Assists per game.
So far during Free agency, the Sixers signed Tobias Harris to five-year, $180 million contract & then signed top free agent Al Horford to four-year, $109 million deal.
The Sixers also got Joshua Richardson in a sign-and-trade deal which sent Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat.
