Philadelphia: After sweeping the weekend series from the Detroit Red Wings, the Philadelphia Flyers would take on one of the hottest teams in the east in the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night from the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia.
Late in the 3rd period with the Flyers trailing 4-2, the Flyers would get pressure on Lightning goalie Louis Domingue and Flyers Sean Couturier would keep fighting to get the puck in the goal and the referee would wave it off and call goalie interference.
The Flyers would challenge the play and the refs still ruled NO Goal due to goalie Interference.
Here is the play, Where do you see Goalie Interference
NHL Response to “Goalie Interference”
Sean Couturier about Goalie Interference
So after watching the replay and reading the NHL Response, Do you agree with the call of goalie interference??????
I came here following your post on the Flyers FB page. Constructive feedback: If you want to make a living as a journalist you need to improve your quality control. Aside from a lot of capitalization and punctuation errors, you have a number of sentences are not coherent.
“After sweeping the weekend series from the Detroit Redwings, the Philadelphia Flyers got a good test as they took one of the hottest teams in the east in the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night from the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia.” – Red Wings is two words, but more important the sentence literally states that the Flyers took the Lightning from the Wells Fargo Center. Where did they take them to??
“Late in the 3rd period with the Flyers trailing 4-2 and the Flyers would get pressure on Lightning goalie Louis Domingue and the Flyers Sean couturier would keep fighting to get the puck in the goal and the referee would wave it off and call “Goalie Interference”” Huh?
Honestly, I’m not trying to be a dick.

That’s the second goal we were screwed out of by the refs in a week!
