Report: Eagles Pay QB Nick Foles for Incentives

Philadelphia: Now that the Philadelphia Eagles season is over after falling to the Saints in the NFC Divisional Playoffs, the debate begins do the Eagles pay quarterback Nick Foles that 20 million dollar option he has for the 2019 season.

A report came out early Saturday morning saying the Eagles paid Nick Foles for reaching his incentives

Source: the Eagles have paid QB Nick Foles a $1M signing bonus to account for the incentive he missed out on by just four snaps earned by Philly making the playoffs and Foles playing 33% of the snaps. Philly does right by the clutch QB.

So going forward, do the Eagles pick up that 20 million dollar option you keep Nick Foles.

On Tuesday, Coach Doug Pederson would say the following about Nick Foles:

“Carson is the quarterback going forward. And in Nick’s case, listen, we would love to have everybody back throughout the roster. But as I’ve said many, many times, it’s not about one guy. It’s about the team. We’re going to do what’s best for the team.“
