Its the Carter Hart Show with Flyers

Philadelphia: It is exciting when you get to see your young player get the call to be on the main roster & hockey fans in Philadelphia would get their wish.

On Monday the Philadephia Flyers would announce that they have called up their goalie of the future in Carter Hart to the main roster.

also on Monday, the Flyers would make a coaching change as Dave Hakstol is OUT & Phantoms coach Scott Gordon would take over on an interim basis.

The Flyers take on the Detroit Redwings tonight at the Wells Fargo Center & Flyers would announce that Carter Hart will make his NHL Debut.

There has been a lot of thoughts from fans and other media about Carter Hart, some are saying that he is not ready and only played a couple games down with the Flyers AHL affiliates that Lehigh Valley Phantoms, others also saying that it is time to bring him up as the other goalies are not getting the job done. Another thing is that this team is going nowhere so why not bring him up and see what he has. The last thing is that they could have brought him up when the Flyers were eliminated from playoff contention and see what he can bring for the 2019-20 season.

When new GM Chuck Fletcher was introduced on December 5, he was asked about Carter Hart.

In 17 games with the Phantoms for the 2018-19 season, Carter Hart is 9-5-2 with 3.05 GAA, Hart picked up his 1st pro shutout on December 5.

It is going to be exciting to see what Carter Hart can do with this opportunity with the Flyers and if will be on the main roster for the 2019-20 season.
